NO SUBJECT
Objective Gallery is pleased to announce our participation in the first edition of THEMA Design and Art Fair. The fair will take place from October 17 to October 21 in the historic Hotel De Guise of Paris’ 7th arrondissement.
THEMA plants itself firmly in the contemporary, paying respects to historical and contemporary design and art; with a commitment to redefining the complex interplay of luxury, creativity, and sustainability.
In excellent company, we present “NO SUBJECT” with the work of Aaron Poritz, Agglomerati x Fred Ganim, Boldizar Senteski, Charlotte Kingsnorth, Viktor Udzenija, Vincent Pocsik and William Guillon.
Holding a mirror to the show moniker, THEMA: a topic, theme, or subject. We have assembled a collection of works to exist outside of “the discourse”, sidestepping the fictitious, idealized, final user and the pre-assigned value that comes along with the imagined room, the theoretical client. The presented works are not‘ things’ to be devoured nor consumed, instead, they invite you in as their guest.
With a focus on entrancing forms and the materially rich, the objects, in this case, may be considered the observers, the viewer a respected secondary; so please enjoy the show, but it is not about you — it is about the object.
See you in Paris.
