These new works are a further exploration in finding the hidden meanings between humans feeling and
their built environment. Literal and abstract figuration come together to create sculptures with a utilitarian structure, used more importantly as metaphor than as literal. A hand holds a staff that morphs into a foot,
all creating the structural outline of a chair. Or two bodies push against each other under the flat surface understood to create a long surface for sitting i.e. bench. Once interacted with( sat on, stood on, knocked over) the sculpture then becomes complete. The human interacting with the piece becomes an extension of the work, completing a link between their body and the body of the work.
