“Treasure chests, tombs, urns, bank vaults, shipping containers.  Sarcophagus.  As a species we seem to think we are owners of things, land, and property.  Our tiled gym locker scaled sarcophagi are built in the same spirit, but encourage you to realize your duty as custodian of few, precious talisman which shift your viewfinder of life.  Whatever you choose to put in this illicit cabinet of worship, make it of the element which blows your hair back, makes your heart race, or simply grounds you in the delight of being alive.

A collection of objects which exist at the precipice of language and a richer realm.  If we accept that our senses filter out much of the stuff of reality, and we further refine/define/categorize our sensory data through a widely used but hardly perfect or complete tool such as linguistics.  We seem to lack the capacity to fully express ourselves.  We stand at the edge of our world, very seldom engaging with the magical depth of our reality.  Unable to describe the unfurling mystical nature of our existence.

In this sense, clay is worked quickly, spontaneously, and methodically to shed light on the wonder of being.  We hope that you have dug your toes in the sand and experienced the feeling of billions of years of sedimentary data flowing through your body and down into the Earth's mantel.  We hope you have experienced the wellspring of emotion from laying supine in a field and feeling the liquidity of our galaxy flow both into and out of you.  We hope these objects remind you to stand and sing into the howling lifeforce of your being.”
